My Windows Firewall keeps shutting off. I switched to Zone Alarm Pro a few days ago, since I have that, does it matter if Windows Firewall keeps going off?

If you go into Zone Alarm and it says that its firewall is up and running, it's ok because it merely replaced Windows Firewall as the firewall on your computer. You can't have two firewalls running simultaneously unfortunately. And since ZoneAlarm is a better firewall, just keep the windows one off and your ZoneAlarm on.

No, you don't need windows firewall. It only blocks inbound traffic. Zone alarm blicks inbound and outbound traffic. Windows may be detecting zone alarm, and shutting off windows firewall automatically. this is normal, and you don't need worry. I hope this helps!
