Well, when I go to certain sites, or actually most sites, I can't see most pictures. Also, when I have to type in the characters I see in the "security code box" for verication that I am not spam, I can't see the characters in the box.

I find MUCH better deals online but I'm afraid to buy them online! Do you think it's OK to purchase them with my debit card? Thanks for your help.

ok well i got infected with smitfraud. you can get infected two ways.... porn or illegal pirated sites... it was one of the 2, and im not listing which one. now ive done a search on google to find a program that could delete it. i havent found one that did it completely. i almost have it gone. all it does is pop ups and stuff, but if i leave it like that it will just reinstall itself again and make it more inconvenient for me. now i still have the option to reformat my computer, but that option i want to save until the end. its like my atomic bomb sorta. but anyway, if anyone knows anything on how to remove or block smitfraud that would be VERY helpful and wanted. thankyou... and if its any help my computer stats that are usually in software requirements:

OS: Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005
RAM:336

Hello, I currently use Norton internet security that is supposed to protect my whole computer. Im getting tired of having to renew it for $70 each year so is there software out there (non-downloadable) that will do the same thing as norton without having to be renewed? Do you have to renew Mcafee?

I'd like to download Limewire, but I'm kind of wary of the viruses I may pick up in the process. I just got a McAfee Internet Security Suite program (the 8 in 1 protection against viruses, spyware, hackers and spam, which also makes back up files, and secures your identity) and I'm wondering if this is good enough against Limewire. If not, what should I do? And how do you know whether or not what you're downloading from Limewire is harmful to your computer?

When I try running SpyBot, the program ends up shutting down my laptop because the processor is overheated. I turn off all unnecessary programs such as Yahoo Messenger, iTunes, etc., and only SpyBoy is available. With the 50,000+ types of spyware types, the program is unable to complete the scan and the laptop shuts down completely at about 11,000 spyware type.

Any suggestions to get around this problem. I like to run AdAware then SpyBot for a full cleaning, but I've been unable to do both because of this shut-down problem.

Any help please.
