HIJACK,
No I am not saying Hello Jack I am suggesting your PC has been hijacked. It can be a scam that gives someone points everytime your browser goes to that site. Email or call your ISP and ask them how to report it. If it isn't illegal it certainly is dishonest. Maybe they can help you get the person who set that up get busted. There are tools to remove the hijacker but your ISP will most likely know which works the best and they might need a copy of the hijacker to file a complaint.....
ISP stands for Internet Service Provider. That's whatever company you get your internet connection from...

You have a browser hijacker on your PC. Use these scans to remove it.
All of these are ones that I personally use and all are free.
AVG Removes I-Worm/Stration · BackDoor.Generic3.GBB and .GBC · Worm/Generic.FX · Exploit.WMF

Spybot - Search & Destroy detects and removes spyware, a relatively new kind of threat not yet covered by common anti-virus applications. Spyware silently tracks your surfing behaviour to create a marketing profile for you that is transmitted without your knowledge to the compilers and sold to advertising companies. If you see new toolbars in your Internet Explorer that you haven't intentionally installed, if your browser crashes inexplicably, or if your home page has been "hijacked" (or changed without your knowledge), your computer is most probably infected with spyware. Even if you don't see the symptoms, your computer may be infected, because more and more spyware is emerging. Spybot-S&D is free, so there's no harm giving it a try to see if something has invaded your computer.

Your computer is infected by WORM_SOHANAD.AE. It enters your computer through Yahoo Messenger, and changes the homepage to coolpics.net. I have compiled removal instructions including a script to enable task manager and regedit (in case if it is disabled). It is not browser Hijacker as the above person states. But it is a worm. Here is a link to removal instructions.

Please communicate if you suceed to get rid of it, or if you face any problems during the process.

I strongly recommend Webroot's spysweeper. It worked for us when we had a similar problem. http://www.webroot.com/company/pressroom/news/
This is spysweeper tooting their horn but they are good and worth every penny of the $30 you pay for their download. I'm sorry to sound like an advertisement but they have come through for me time and again.
