We have three home computers using our wireless internet, but I don't see how I can prevent any of my neighbors from hopping onto our connection.

i have microsoft firewall, and i just installed aol safety and security 9.0se. and the aol security seems to be good, but now i get errors when i do scans, that tell me i have too many firewalls. does anyone have opinions as to which is better?

I downloaded something a while ago and i dont remember what now, but when i go to windows task manager, It shows that internet explorer is running and taking up lots of memory, but its not running in the little blue tray at the bottom of the computer. I can end the process a while later it will just come back up again! plz help me, I have run scans with windows defender and norton antivirus but they havent found anything.

sometimes when i run IE there's this message :
your current security settings prohibits running activex on this page as a result the page may not display correctly
then the page wont display , ive checked security setting but nothing was wrong i said it happens sometimes and not always .
can anyone help me ??

My anti virus program detected an intruder with the IP address as 66.90.164.137. It is Win.MSSQL.worm.Helkern. It has tried a few times to intrude when I go to Yahoo Answers in Computers and Internet Category. What will happen if it succeed in intrusion?

Do you think I should allow that 'philter' thing that sends details of the sites you visit to Microsoft? They say it's to warn you about sites impersonating other sites. It sounds a bit like Big Brother to me but maybe it's needed. I don't know. Can anyone tell me if I should go for it or not, please?
