I've heard that ISPs have limits on download and upload amounts that, when reached or surpassed, they report to authorities for possible investigation for procurement and distribution of copyrighted materials. Is there any truth to this? If this is a nationally set number? If so, does anyone know what this is?

I download and upload a pretty sizeable amount of data and I want to avoid appearing suspicious to my ISP and/or the RIAA/MPAA.

back space key often does nothing. click drop down menu beside key and it often shows doubleclick.net or admt.com. sometimes
repeated many times. computer just does not respond to last site visited. right click usually deletes at least most of the entries on drop down menu. some sites are worse than others. spyware and virus programs do not help.
entered this question earlier in different category. new at this. sorry about that.

I repurchased norton virus protection and now I can't get to a "lounge" on yahoo games. It was working fine until I repurchased norton. I can log into my yahoo games a/c but it brings me back to the begining of yahoo games when I choose a "lounge". My pop up blocker is off. I'm running xp. Thank you to all who answer.

Panda Anti Virus Company accepted my money to pay for there services but the antivirus protection has not worked properly at all and they have yet to fix it and its been almost a year now. Alot of un-anwsered tech support e-mails. Can someone give me any advice on how to get this resolved/fixed?... because I have paid for this service and tecnically I am not getting it, at least not totally what I paid for. Can someone also tell me a better antivirus company to switch to when my subscription is over with panda.

help..!

i downloaded some stuff last night and after installing one, a caution sign showed up at the bottom right part of my monitor saying "Critical System Errors!".. at first i thought i jez had a lot of programs opened so i closed all of em and i rebooted my pc.. but then it's still there..! then it said that the pc is infected by some virus..

what should i do..?
i have a friend saying that she has the same virus on her pc right now and she can't remove it.. is there anything we could do about this or are we gonna have to have the computer formatted..? (which we're avoiding as much as possible coz we both dont want to lose the stuff that's already in our computers..)

is it possiable for a computer hacker to send you a securiety alert pop up when you are on their site ? I had made this guy mad when he started asking for money to keep up the site ,because he could no longer afford the $7.00 a mt and needed help or it would go down ,a support group , he only wanted the $7.00 or a little extra if anyone could help out , I thought it sounded strange and posted that ,making him mad ,and a few days later while on the site doing a post to another member of that group ,I got a secuerity alert and prompted me to update by clicking on update now , I did looked like any down load ,then prompted to restart my computer . well my computer had a message across the screen LSARV.dll not found ,you may be able to fix this by inserting your start up disk . I did lost everything ,when anti virus was reinstalled and scaned my pc 5 viruses had hit all at the same time . is it possiable that I was hit by that guy ?

There are many, but what is the best one?

I'm currently using Norton Antivirus, and although it does seem to be strong for what it does, it's just too slow. It's a huge resource hog. It sucks up a whole lot of RAM with a whole lot of running processes. I play PC games so obviously this affects me alot, since it causes alot of lag.

I've been contemplating getting this program called NOD32 (download.com) has anyone heard of it? is it as strong as norton? i've heard a few good things about it.
