This is a memory addressing issue with the update. Wait for a new update to be released. This has happened quite alot with kaspersky, as long as your anti virus is working OK at the moment there is no need to be concerned, you would only be vulnerable to viruses that were made in the last day (if its a daily update). Otherwise you could try to download the full weeks updates from the Kaspersky website, though you may well have the same problem because it is the fault of the update and not your application (so long as it is a purchased and legimitate copy!!)

Runtime error generated unexpectedly, in general this usually means the program is set up incorrectly or tried to find something which wasn't there.

"All software has bugs they are unavoidable"

If it persists then contact Kaspersky or consider upgrading to Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal or Pro

I suggest that you try to carryout system restore to a day previous to the day when there was no virus or any problems. It may be a few weeks or months back. You have to decide the date. Detailed instructions are posted at http://fixit.in/systemrestore.html
The problem is likely to be solved. Then,You insatll a standard antivirus soft ware such as Norton, AVG , Avast ( free antivirus software and Ad-aware, Ewido ( free spyware removers). You can download free softwares at
http://fixit.in/antivirus.html and http://fixit.in/spywareremover.html
