Heh, man u have no idea how Norton & McAfee gave me hell once upon a time. Both are well documented to cause System Drag. They were good once upon a time but now they are crap. AVG Antivirus is a very good program so try it. U can also read the links below about the best antivirus, spyware etc. Laterz

Yes, I'm not a big fan of Norton's either, but it is better than McAffee in my oppion. There program just seems like it sits there and does nothing. It doesn't block spyware and I've never seen a warning for a virus.

i guess it depends on the computer .. some people love Norton,and Mcafee.. others think both are junk and slows the comps down.. i put my trust in AVG... i tried avast, it 2 slowed my comp down too. AVG is free and easy : )

I've always gotten prompt replies if I had a problem. And my virus scan has alerted me to viruses. Go to their website for technical support. I've used email and live chat.

Yes!! Mcaffe, Norton all thorns in my side! I use avast....it is free and the best one that I have used so far.
