One person told you that Yahoo is very slow to act. That is not true at all. I get alot of hate male and finanical scams out of Nigeria, London, England, France, Canada and Colombia. And Yahoo responds within minutes with a ID# to ref. the case.

All you have to do is open options on the right hand side of the email and look for mail preference. When you find header options, check off the box that says "Full Header", Then drop to and save and go back to the emal and open and you will see the complete header of the ISP where the email was originated, all the ports that it may have went through and Yahoo ISP. Now you have to forward to email to abuse@yahoo.com as an "inline text", if you attempt to send them any mail that is abuse without following the above instruction they will not respond.

Every email that I sent to them I get an ID#, back from Yahoo. An within two days they have completed their investigation. An if the sender has broken the laws or the "EULA" agreement with Yahoo, their account has always been shut down.

If the above is to much trouble then all you need to do is block this person. Then they are unable to email you.

People who try use Yahoo and get no response back is because they don't follow the guidlines for financial scams, criminal, intent, or hate mail. So what the hell to they expect from Yahoo when they don't get a reply back.

Report this to Yahoo and to eBay. Chances are the yahoo address is fake, that is, that person really isn't there, but report it anyway. And if it is yahoo mail, spam it, asap! That blocks that address from mailing to you again.

"And Yahoo responds within minutes with a ID# to ref. the case. "

That's because yahoo uses an auto-responder, lol.

It takes forever for them to actually get to it.

Just block the e-mail address and stop stressing about it.

Also next time don’t give your mail address but use this instead:

Also adding to what MINDOCTOR already said, from personal experience, tracing IP of sender and complaining with his ISP often produces good results. To do so you would have to trace IP visible in letter’s header information – sometimes visible as “Originated IP” (2nd one at the bottom), sometimes as part of path. Tracing IP will provide you with senders ISP name and usually with addreshttp://news.com.com/Create+an+e-annoyance,+go+to+jail/2010-1028_3-6022491.html?tag=nefd.tops where abuse complains can be send to.

Not much but you can put Tracemusaxx7@yahoo.com on a blocked list on your email account.

Forward the abusive e-mails to abuse@yahoo.com.

Don't expect much, though. They are very slow to act. Just add that addie to your blocked list and move on.
