No, Only the previous version will not be supported after Jan07. But you can download newer version of their free antivirus from http://free.grisoft.com
This is what they say on their website. I don't know if this confusion is deliberately created.
In case if they decide to make it a paid version, you can switch to free AVAST antivirus. It has become quite advanced, even better than AVG.

No. The upgrade advertised for January is just a new version of the free software, that will be compatible with Windows Vista. It was just a misleading dialogue box, according to AVG.

No, but you will need to download and upgrade to version 7.5 to keep using their free antivirus software.
