I have a friend that uses Windows ME. She has Very slow dial-up. She reinstalled her OS and needs to update her computer. I remember a couple years back Microsoft released an Update CD but I have since lost mine and MS does not offer it anymore. Is there a place I can download an image of it to install atleast some of the updates for her?

All of the tracking cookies persent were described by Panda as being "not in circulation". At the time of the scan, the system was still under the influence of an Windows auto installer program. I started the scan because the system would not restart. I checked a disk with the program itself and it showed no spyware. My concern is that after a search on few of the tracking cookies, such as fastclick, I realized that I had never even been to the websites connected with the tracking cookies. How did I get connected with the tracking cookies if I did not vist any of the websites connected with the tracking cookies?

I have two hard -drives on my WINDOWS 200pro machine.
The master drive is where my OS sits. My slave drive is free of an OS, but i use it to save pictures and ducuments. However, anyone can view and access the content on my second drive(slave) and i would like to restict access to the contents of this drive to me only, the administrator.
Can anyone tell me if this is possible and if so how do i set it up for privacy?

when i try to go to myspace i get redirected to this stupid porn sight. i had a virus (as well as some other adware type) on my computer but after scanning with norton i thought that i had gotten rid of all of it... ive tried a couple of things but still no myspace only porn... sometimes other sights get redirected to other non porn sights.... help!???

Hi ..If theres a wireless network and its unsecured. and u know anyone can connect it to acces the internet right? so.. first off im not the host.. i just found some random network. so i use it to connect to the internet.. Question is, can i SEE , (whoever is connected to that network) WHAT THEYRE DOING. I thought i would check the company out maybe they had a website i could browse. Well it took me to this site where i found someone else received one. So i replied to the email and said i needed to verify the company exists with the local authorities before i would give any information. Dont think i will be hearing from him again.

at boot camp, im gonna make all 9 videos(one for each week) before i go but i wanna some get a password for each video so every weekend i can send her a pass word in the mail and when she clicks on the video and a screen name and pass word pops up.. and she can access the video that way.. now, the only reason why i want a pass word is because i know she'll get greedy on them and watch em all before i even get to boot camp.. where can i find something like this??? have any questions about the question, just ask me and i'll update the question.

Lately, I started to sell on eBay again, & now I keep getting all kinds of weird emails saying they are from eBay, but they are not. It will be from people who have questions about an item I had for sale, but I know my item #'s & they emailed me the wrong one! Also, I am unable to login into eBay now. It says that I have the wrong password. I filled out the "get a new password" on eBay website & recieved 2 emails back! One I think was from eBay & the other looked like the eBay email, but it seemed wrong. The items I was selling are no longer listed! The time still had 3 days to go (according to yesterday). I emaile support at eBay, still waiting on the response.

What steps do you do to help fix this problem?

Im locked out of my kids computer,(Window XP home).
They took my user account off of the computer, and I no longer have access to their computer, and i need to know if their is a back door to log in to the computer with out having to buy some program, and with out having to reinstall windows..

I know that on my laptop, (XP Pro) I can do Alt+Ctrl+Del, and i can log in under a hidden Administrator account. Is there any thing like that on (XP Home), and is there any way after i get back on the computer that i can add a hidden Admin. account that they wont see so they cant remove it??

ya know the e-mail kind where someone is saying that they need your infomation so that they can deposit money in your account and then you must Western Union it to them and you keep some. - Or the other typical one where you are told you won some lottery and they need your info. This e-mail is going around and it has a link to an actual site so that it will seem more believable...www.afbini.gov.uk...so many people are gonna get screwed....
