if you are an experienced and cautious user defender is more than adequate for you without the aid of spybot or any other spyware program. Personally I use defender and Avast (avast.com) on my machines at work and at home, and have yet to be compromised. Definately stearing clear of internet explorer 6 helps alot also, use internet explorer 7 rc1 or firefox along with defender to keep your system free of malware.

Well if oyu have a genuine copy of MS WIn XP then defender is the best solution for Malicious softwares and spywares. Then you don't need another spyware removal program.

Yes to both questions. I use WDB2 along with Spybot and SpywareBlaster. All three provide full time active protection.

Most definately! I had problems with my computer after being attacked by spyware and Defender found the offending programs and safely deleted them. I also run it with Norton and have no problems.
