One of my word documents suddenly got replaced with a blank docment with the same name, with out anything being done manualy. Is there a computer virus that does this ?

download xoftspy422 and install it then run it stop the scan and click on scan settings tick every box and click on where it says >> click here to select a folder then tick the (c) thats your hard drive if you have 2 hard drives tick the 2 of them then click ok
then click start when the scan is done click on remove tab

No this is not virus. You can run online virus scan of trend micro systems to confirm the same. What actually happened is by mistake you would have saved the blank file in the same name. This happens to most of the computer users and I analysed this with my 25 years experience as a computer division head.

dont reach to any conclusion unless u encounter same situation again 2-3 times...
if so then that may be a virus problem so scan ur system using AVG free 7.0 its free and really good ...

just scan for Nimda W32 virus
