dodds829...

Without knowing the full details it's quite hard to tell...

But i agree with gimlit.... If you are unsure play it safe, don't open it just delete it. - it's more likely to be a spammer rather than a virus per say and if this the case mark it for deletion everytime.

The just to be on the safe side update your virus/spyware/adware/malware definations and run a scan.

It is true you can send and receive yahoo greeting cards: but the email address would be greetings@reply.yahoo.com, and there will be a link to the E-Greeting which would some like
http://in.view.greetings.yahoo.com/greet/view?xxxxxxxxx
-(where x is a combination of letters and numbers)

Hope this helps

It's most likely a virus or someone trying to create a virus. There's been a spate of spoofed emails claiming to be from yahoo...

All sound like viruses.

Play it safe, if you are not sure who the email is from, don't open it as this shows the spamming buggers that your email is active, you will end up with more. Delete them

To me it desnt seem virus or spam, bcoz they dont use such ids, subject etc which makes people suspect it. They want people to open the mail.
