My pop-up blocker is on but I keep getting ads from Winfix, Drivecleaner and all sorts of casinos etc. If you click on cancel for some of them they download software anyway. I have tried re-installing all Yahoo software. Also when i open links they open in very small new windows. Have I got a virus that is not being detected?

Sometimes windows will F-up and it asks if you want to "Send Error Report" I have been doing this since XP came about but I don't think anything has ever happened because of it. I'm convinced its something put there to make people feel better? Anywa thoughts?

Many a times, I have been receiving mail from unknown people who are totally fraud and each one comes up with a new story, asking me to provide my personal details, as they would like to transfer their money in my account and in return they would give me some commission. To trap them on numerous occassions, I have replied to their mail, asking them to give me details, so that I could go ahead. Now, my only interest is how to track down these people and stop them from harrasing me or others. I have tried blocking their addresses but each time they come up with a new ID, so very difficult to keep a track.

As a lifelong Windows user, I just bought an Apple Macbook Pro. I was wondering whether Apple computers require Antiviral programs as Windows products do.

I typically use Norton programs and have Norton Internet Security 2006 installed on my primary PC. If such a program is necessary, what program would you recommend?

What Apple compatible antivirus program is the most popular?

it would be nice if we had a software that does the following. when someone sends u a virus/ad-ware/spyware....etc it would be very good if the software detects it and modifying it by making it nastier and send it back to the sender. but to let the sender know by saying the following.. you just tried to infect someones PC . your system will be crushing in 2, 1 and then crush. if possible to erase his hard drive. i bet he/she will never do nasty things like this again. am i dreaming or is it possible?? i would appreciate your opinion. thank you

My husband took my name off our verizon phone bill and changed the password. I tried to change it again, but he put an additional password on the account.
I can't even access the account on my own phone, and I pay the bill. No one at verizon will even talk to me! Please, any advice?
