1. Double click on your yahoo messenger

2. When you're on the little pop up messenger page
type in your username then click on "forgot password"

3. This will make a new internet explorer page come up

4. Answer all the questions on this page and they will
provide you with a new password

5. They will ask if you would like to sign in, say yes,
When you are on the page where they ask for
username and password, make sure you have
left click/dragged/copied your new password

6. Enter it under password.

7. Once in, go to change password, still using the new
password, then just change it to the new one.

I am not getting your question completly, which password r u talking about?
If its Yahoo mail password then once your mail is logged in, select Options from the extrere right corner.
From here go to Account Information from the left corner listing.
Under Account Information you will find change password. click on it and do what they ask to change it.

If you're talking about your Yahoo! password, click on the "My Account" link at the top of the Yahoo Answers page. There's a link in your profile to change your PW.
