Adultfriendfinder popups (and others that have the word "Amaena" in the title bar or address bar) is often caused by a trojan called Vundo, also known as Virtumonde.
Most "standard" anti-virus and anti-spyware programs have a tough time removing it.
Vundo can usually be removed by the use of a free removal tool called VundoFix. The tool and the removal procedure can be found here:

Good luck.

It's called a hijacker. Anyways yeah it is spyware. If you have a legit copy of windows you can download windows defender from microsofts download center.
If you do not, then you can go to http://www.download.com and download ad aware, which is ok but not great for a freeware spyware remover.
Your best bet would be either Norton or Mcafee internet security suite.. I use McAfee :)
Microsoft also has a malicious software removal tool that you can download from their website. Good luck to you because some of those spyware programs can be really nasty.

Its probably spyware in your computer. Scan it using a free spyware killer like AVG, Ad-Adware, Spybot, etc. Then check to see your homepage is still the same homepage it was (If you have IE. Go to "tools" - "internet options" - and see if its the same. Last, if none of that works, go for the virus scanner.

You should get away from Internet Explorer and use Mozilla Firefox. Its a free download and it is way more secure than IE. You can set your homepage to whatever you want, use tabbed browsing, etc... And if you don't want to do that, check your settings on IE. My guess is someone hacked your settings to go to the adult site.
Why anyone still uses IE is beyond me.... Ew.
