hi, spyware is a disgusting and infamous kind of virus, perhaps you can try Norton or Mcafee to remove the virus, but you should pay for the software.
i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.
besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.
firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

My PC was once infected with spyware and I was not internet connected, I dont have any choice but to back-up my files and reformat my PC.

attempt working an entire device virus and secret agent ware test in secure-mode (faucet pf8 on startup). additionally after removing the an infection disable your device restoration and then re-enable it. it is in case the virus has saved itself in the restoration archives and could be delivered returned if a device restoration is ever needed.

you can try adaware, it the one i use and it seem to do the trick for adware and spyware, and it's free. I do however run norton for regular virus protection

you could also do an online scan at Trend Micro or Panda
