I desperately need a good virus remover. I think my computer has a virus and my McAfee (It's outdated sadly) won't pick it up. I tried my spy-bot search and destroy, it came up with nothing, too. But I know for sure I have adware. Help! How can I get rid of this? Please, someone help!

I've had the Norton Symantec for almost a year..and it's almost up for renewal. Now that I downloaded Ad Aware, I'm wondering if I need both. Also, does Ad Aware run on its own, or do I manually start it every once in a while for the system scan ? Thanks for answering !!

Hi, I responded to an ad on rentclick.com for a 2 Bedroom apartment on Brooklyn street in Boston. As per the ad I sent $2100 to Rent.com which was to act as an Escrow. However, the money was requested in Rent.com agent in Detroit. The money receipt was acknowledged but I have not got any apartment. I wrote to Rent.com from which I earlier recd an email for sending the money - about the veracity of their Escrow service and they declined. How can I get my money back as it was a proper Western Union transfer? Which agency can I speak to. Ihave lodged a complaint with police and they are saying it may take weeks before something can happen!!!!! Can someone help, I need help.

I post on a message board for the residents of the small town where I grew up, and the conversation there gets very heated. The message board is owned by somebody who knows my dad, and because my dad is in politics, I don't want the message board people to know I'm related to him. This is mostly because some of the people there are pretty hateful and I would hate to cause any trouble for my dad. Dad and I have differing opinions about many (most?) things, but you know how ignorant people are...

Anyway, I registered on the message board with fake information (fake name, address, etc.) and an email address that's also anonymous (fake information there too). Besides being able to determine the city I post from, is it possible for the message board owner or the other posters to find out any of my personal information or identity? Thanks for all responses.
