Keep your own Anti-virus up to date, and check the status regularly.

Get and update several Anti-spyware solutions. I use AD-AWARE and SpyBot Search & Destroy. I use the free versions from http://www.download.com Update and run these regularly. Especially IMMEDIATELY after an upexpected pop-up.

Download and install FireFox free from http://www.mozilla.com This is a browser that is safer to use than IE. Use this for general surfing and google searching. Only use IE when you MUST have IE, such as Windows Updates.

If you have Windows XP with SP2, activate the Windows firewall and check the status. If you don't, get Zone Alarm the free version from http://www.zonelabs.com

Take these steps to keep your computer ALIVE.

download spybot. Go to Mode> Advanced mode> yes> click tools system start up. You will see a list of everything that is starting when you turn your computer on. Click the slide bar on the right side and select one of the entries. In the box on the right it will tell you what each thing is, even a virus. Run spybot anyway it will clean up whatever you have. I also have 5 SVCHOST.EXE processes. So I guess it is necessary. Spysweeper is what put the junk on your comp to start with dump that too.

None are spyware or adware, those are process that you are running and what your computer is running to function.RUNDLL32.EXE could be like if you have a windows application opened up(like add/remove programs or something in the control panel) Try running McAfee or spyware doctor, but I reccomend Ad-Adware(from downloads.com)

Go here and go to the bottom of the page. Click the Free trial link for Win Task 5 Pro and download and run it. You can use it to go through each process and it will tell you what each one is and does.

Hi, there maybe something wrong with your IE.

i recommand you to try firefox.

it can block that annoying ads and disable any virus on webpage. as you know, most virus are spread through internet.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE.

Download firefox for free in here:

Good Luck.
