You are refering to system restore, but that will not erase anything you did such as web site you have visited for you hd.

If you use Windows XP there is this tool called System Restore, u can find it in Start/All programs/Accessories/System tools. It doesnt reset almost everything but its a very good tool.

It can be possable using Windows XP only. In Win Xp we have a option called restore point.
Click start >> allprograms >> accessories >> system tools >> System restore.
