system lock up need to bypass password lock

If the password is a BIOS password the only way to get it reset is through IBM. It is part of their "security" services. You will have to physically send them your computer, I think it costs about $100.

You'll still get Social Security, but it may not be enough to live well. Keep saving in the 401K, and if you can save otherwise, then do. If you have a mortgage, concentrate on getting it paid off so the roof over your head is safe, and pay off any other debts so you are completely debt free. This will minimise your outgoings for the long term future, and then by living simply, you can make your money stretch further than you think. You want an old age free of financial worry.

Mostly it is a BIOS lock. If you have experience on computer, you can open the case, take out the battery or set the jumper to clear the BIOS setting and password.
