i have gone from sat(optus)to dsl(optus) 3 month gap...now trend-micro will not update...no access to firewall,and it seems to conflict with my optus home page...........keeps saying check internet connections(28).... have had no joy from optus or trend.......

I use trend micro pc -cillin.I recently paid for the latest version,which is a bit different to my older one,and it was doing funny things,like not allowing things to come in and out of my computer,and i was having so much trouble with emails i ended up ringing my server-(westnet) and when i told them i had trend micro,-they talked me through a few steps to stop trend doing what it was doing and it fixed the problem.I cant remember exactly what i did,but i disabled a function in trend itself to stop it from halting internet connections.

have you tried to change your settings from sat. to dsl? this could be the prob.if doesn't work then try downloading new
