No. Companies have filters to watch for certain words - usually profanity - but think about the amount of time it would take to read eacn and every email. THere just isn't time.
That doesn't mean you shouldn't be careful. I know someone who used a minor profane word which the filter caught. They examined the email and found out that the usage wasn't bad, but he said something ELSE in the email which was - and they fired him. Rule of thumb: Do'nt put anything in any email you wouldn't want your boss to read.

No. Employers don't spend their time reading other email. Only time they might is if they are having trouble with employee in some area.

and my experience is that almost the 50\% of the employers monitor and track your conversations

They most certainly have the ability, but unless they know of a problem or of some abuse, they wouldn't get much work done if they had to sit in their office all day reading everyones email would they?

It depends on the business. Do not send anything through a company's network that you wouldn't want them to read.
They can also see everything that you do on the computer if they want to.
