I have about 4 computers in the house and i have a Main computer that runs the modem and everyone elses goes thru my router. I was wondering if it is possible to view what other people in a differnt room are doing so i can make sure that nothing goes wrong. I am wondering if there is a possible program that can allow this to happen. Thank you for reading.

I've tried everything. I tried that stiupid password disk thing. I can't log onto my administrator bc I don't have the password. So. What do i do? I need on there as SOON AS POSSIBLE!!! Its my work computer. PLEEEASE HELP!

what do i do on nero i go on data dvd and it always stops burning at 60% and says burn aborted what do i do to burn this game ??? it is in the normal file of .exe it and its other files are in 1 big folder??? what do i do

what Trayapp means. I get it everytime i turn on my computer. It comes up in a little box, stating - windows installer trayapp then i have to cancel it for about 7 or 8 times then i get logged on. I have tried a system restore, but that didn't work, Any ideas. I'm on windows XP if that helps. It's not causing any problems with the computer it's just annoying that I have to go through this each time, when i never used to. Any help would be appreciated.... Many Thanks

My keyboard is acting up. When I push the SHIFT ket to type a capital letter, I get an extra character in front of my intended character. For example, if I type a capital letter A using the shift key, I will get something looking like a capital I in front of the letter A : IA.

Please help!

I CAN'T hear system alerts and sounds via internet connection.

I CAN hear Audio CD's, mp3's payed through WMP and any games that I instaled (Diablo etc).

I have done:
1) Uninstall and reinstall drivers
2) Upgraded drivers
3) Did a Windows Repair
4) Checked all volume settings
5) All speakers work because I can play Audio, just can't hear system sounds

I have a RealTek 97' sound card with Windows XP system, running Kaspersky Virus 7 and a hardware firewall.

I have checked the newsgroups, and all services attempting to find a solution and nothing has worked. ANY other suggestions would be great before I break down and c:format again...

For the last week, before I can sign on, a small window comes on the screen, it says;
Start Up Project
! Run- time error '53':
File not found
.........ok.........
Willl someone please tell me what this means and how to fix it Please? Do I need to put my computer in the shop?

I have figured out how to type letters in Word ( but I can't adjust my margins!) , I worked out how to send an e-mail, but that's about it. I want to learn how to copy and paste, create templates, resize pictures - LOADS of things.

Can anyone recommend a good book, or Cd-Rom where I can learn basics, jargon, shortcuts, tips etc.

Our local school runs a basic computer class for adults but it is always over-subscribed, and I haven't been able to get a place this year.

Saving photos to my Picture file is okay, but when I click on the picture for full screen, it opens in word pad and is just a jumble of symbols. How can I get it to open like it should?

I apologize in advance if this sounds silly. I want to host a website with potential high volume and was told that I may need additional servers in the long run.. does that mean I have to have a cpu-looking box running in my home or can i host through godaddy? suppose I needed say, 7 servers for my page.. can that page be virtually hosted through a service like godaddy? how does it work. please explain. thank you!!!

i put in a disk into the drive and it started to make loud funny noises,then it stoped and i opened the drive and the CD was broken in 3 peices!!!
