Would you be able to change a font type when I'm typing except on Microsoft Word?? PLease tell me if their are any codes.??? I will pick the person with the best ANSWER and you will gain 10 points..

I have been building custom machines for almost 5 years now and have "run out" of customers. All my clients (and everyone they have recommended me too) have new machines and wont be upgrading for a few years. Some place that caters to local areas would be preferred. I have not ever tried to sell on Ebay and have little experience with website creation.
I have already tried Craigslist.com, oodle.com and MSN.com and the local paper... any other ideas.
Bonus points if the site is geared towards or draws traffic from computer users looking to upgrade or buy new machines rather than a buy every thing under the sun kind of site (like Ebay) . Any ideas?

can anyone advise me on how i stop my computer automatically storing images that i view, whether it is email images or from web sites... its getting to be a pain as its slowing down my machine!

I know you're confused after reading that, but here's the deal:

1. There's only one account on my computer. People in my house keep changing and resetting the password so that other people can't log on.

2. I removed the password but I discovered that anyone can put a new one without knowing the old password.

3. So basically HOW do I make it so that nobody can ever put a password on this account again? I want to keep it PASSWORD-FREE

Should I study management information systems?
I like computers and I like business. But I'm not sure if I should study this degree because
a) computer field changes all the time, my skills would probably soon be obsolete
b) many IT jobs are going to low-cost outsources overseas.

Does anyone in the field have any information about this? Is this a good career to go into?

I was booting up! Is it some sorta of hacker? Sounds to me it might be my nasty sister that's been accusing me of trying to hide! But I really don't think she has the patience to do hacking! I suppose it takes patiences! Well what does 31337 Ubenkar mean? It flashed across my screen this morning as It was booting up! Was never on it before! Does anyone know?

My school is having a party tomorrow and my teacher says that we're allowed to play any game we desire if we're able to install it. I'm wanting to play a game that requires directx 9c. The current versions on the computers at school are below 9c. I then thought I could simply install the new version, but the computers are setup so that the WINDOWS folder is completely unwritable to students. So I'm wondering if there's a way to install directx in a different folder that isn't int he windows folder. Or maybe a way to forward a folder containing the directx files to the actual directx folder inside windows. I'd be very greatly if I'd get a solution.

I want to defrag my computer but everytime I try it keeps saying that I have a volume control issue and to run this program ( chkdsk/f. ) . I tried to run this but it does nothing. Has anyone ever come across this or can anyone give me some pointers about this?

I am 13. I have been saving my money for almost a year now for an apple macbook. I finally have enough money($1000 saved all by myself,absolutely no money from them) and my parents won't let me get one. They keep saying i should get a cheaper laptop, but this is the cheapest mac, and i do not want a vista or xp. this is all i have been saving my money for and now they wont let me do what i want with it. what should i tell them that might make them change there minds by this coming black friday, also does anyone know what apples black friday sales will be on the entry level macbook.

Hi everyone! I want to start a fan website for Daniel Radcliffe w/ my friend... the only thing is, I'm not too familiar with creating an actual website. my computer said windows virtual memory minimum too low your system us low on virtual memory. windows is increasing the size of your virtual memory pageing file. During this process memory requests for some applications may be denied. When it said this it made the computer very laggy. i let it go all night and its still very laggy. so what should i make my virtual memory settings?

I have been looking for an answer for a week to this problem. I have a web page (html) that is showing great with Mozilla but the page is blank with IE. I tried deleting the Cache like some people told me, and it didn't help. Anyone has any suggestions? I would appreicate any reply.
I cannot give the address of the website because it is internal page on the intranet.
