I know you're confused after reading that, but here's the deal:

1. There's only one account on my computer. People in my house keep changing and resetting the password so that other people can't log on.

2. I removed the password but I discovered that anyone can put a new one without knowing the old password.

3. So basically HOW do I make it so that nobody can ever put a password on this account again? I want to keep it PASSWORD-FREE

so long as your not part of a domain the you go to control panel and go to "user accounts" and then "change the way a user logs on and off" and the uncheck the "welcome screen" option and the "fast user switching" and reboot...it will then boot right to windows...someone would have to go in and change this option to make it come back...
