I am 13. I have been saving my money for almost a year now for an apple macbook. I finally have enough money($1000 saved all by myself, absolutely no money from them) and my parents won't let me get one. They keep saying i should get a cheaper laptop, but this is the cheapest mac, and i do not want a vista or xp. this is all i have been saving my money for and now they wont let me do what i want with it. what should i tell them that might make them change there minds by this coming black friday, also does anyone know what apples black friday sales will be on the entry level macbook.

tell them that it's an investment. apple products will retain their value longer than PCs will. let them know that you're being smart by buying a computer that you will have for many years to come without having to buy expensive upgrades and hardware. this being said, you may need more than $1000 for a decent macbook. good luck to you bud.

A good idea just make sure that when you go to college it is not a college that requires a specific type of computer.
