Personally I'd like to see sections that perhaps cost more to ask in, and give greater rewards for answering. Perhaps only top contributors could answer. I don't know. I do agree with the person above me. There are enough categories, right now. And odds are if you are an advanced computer user, you don't need to ask many questions.

What purpose would creating an "advanced" section serve? The categories under Computers & Internet already allow some amount of specialization based on topic. Breaking out a section for "advanced" users will just have everyone asking all questions in the "advanced" section for hope of having better answers. It will also lead to responders trying to be "advanced" responders when not everyone will truly have the background.

So why do you think we need or don't need an advanced section?

If Yahoo really wants to rank questions, a per question difficulty rating could be established and it should cost the asker based on the difficulty they select for the question. Rewards should also be proportionate to the difficultly of the question level.
