It suddenly freezes but there is still sound! The image is not moving but it just freezes.

like if i wanna enter the files on my desktop, how can i change the mouse options so i can click only oncew on the file nd it opns not twice?

If I put a CD into my computer (XP Windows)
while on the internet, the CD won't open.
Rebooting doesn't help. Re-installing Roxio
doesn't help. The only thing that works is to
turn off the ethernet box.
Any ideas?

i downloaded dvx but im not sure, it turns it into a few different tso files..im not sure what im doing...my nero startmart says that the dvd r is the wrong disc, to use a cdr, but then it says there is not enough disc space...anybody can walk me thru the steps?

First thing first,no sound from the CD player,error about the jack server not detected,and my mail page that keeps popping up a mail authentication failed,and connection to internet slow,thats just a start so please any advice I am no good at this new computer I had a 98 and I really am missing it so,I have called the linspire # no help and also my ISP no help ..

I have a lot of music files on my hard drive. I finally put all my cds on there. However, when i try to make a list to catagorize them I mess up. i tried to copy and paste, but it then does the entire song. How can I make a list of them without typing in every song. Is there a way? Please help because I wanted to sort them to make CD's for Christmas.

I bought a new DVD Writer, and then found out from the box that it wants a processor speed of 1.3 GHz (or greater), but my speed is only 733 MHz maximum.

All the other System Req's seem to be met OK.

Will the Writer still work and, if so, what are the implications of using it below speed.?

Or should I try and return it for a refund?

Your guidance and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have setup account in Outlook/TheBat. But not all mails are
downloading from Gmail to Outlook/Bat - pop is only receiving first 300
of my 1800 emails. Please advice me how I can fix it. Sincerely, Euge.

This may be a really stupid question, but is it possible to take an embed code for a movie and somehow use that to "Get" the movie downloaded to your computer? I have been trying FOR DAYS to get Apocalypto movie clips for a music video project, but I can't seem to find any that will download directly to my computer. Does anyone have any advice on this? Is it possible?

I have been told there is a facility, in which I will be informed, when an email which I have sent, is opened. Too many times I have sent emails to clients, etc, only to be told " I did not receive it" when I know they have. I have searched all over for this, but cannot find it anywhere. Anyone got an idea?
