You cant unless you talk to your system administrator at work and have him set it up.

If you use exchange, there is a way to set up exchange with web access (it's called Outlook Web Access and it connects to your exchange server, not your personal machine, you'll still have all of your email though).

If you can use IMAP, you could access your work email using a VPN.

If it is a POP server you're probably out of luck. The email would only be downloaded to one location, so you would have some emails at home and others at work. There might be ways around this.

In any case you need to talk to your system administrator.

Most compaines have set up webmail. Which is your work e-mail that can be viewed via a web browser. You will need to talk to your IT department to find out the webaddress and how to log into the system. The nice thing is you can read and responed to mail, but it will be there in the office when you return to work.

Do you have the same ISP? Probably not.

Some companies use an intranet.

Ask the co IT if you are allowed to do this - read work mail at home.

depend on your work email, if it is exchange, you need to have vpn access or remote control access

If it is pop server, you need to find your pop server name, and the set up will be exactly the same as work.
