After I search for something like lets say cake, then I type in c for another search and a little menu of everything I've searched for begining with c is underneath the search bar. How do I deactivate this feature?

My current education is High School Diploma, some college in computer field (not graduate), i pass the Comptia A+, Comptia Network+ and Microsoft Certified Professional MCP.

Additional Question: If yes, what will be my salary range with this education. No Experience yet!

I reinstalled Windows Xp, because of viruses.

When I did that, it now says I dont have enough disk space for anything.

So I put the disk back in , restarted it.

The only option it gave me was to Start up windows normally, or do a system reconsole(or something). So I clicked on that.
When I did that it asked me which (i guess windows to use).

They were labeled like this:
C:/WINDOWS
D:/WINDOWS
I tried to click on both, both times, it told me to enter in my adminstration password.
I've never had an adminstration password.
So I tried what I usually use as passwords..
no luck.
Where can I find this password, and is this the only way to get the other windows xp off?
I dont know what else to do.
I dont care if I have to totally clean out my entire hard drive, and lose everything.

Ive used different spyware-adware remover. Only one of the spyware remover detects it, but after i delete the pest registry tool still wont work. The type of spyware that was found was Sygyp.A Disable registry tool and Disable Task Manager.

When i log of my name as owner of the pc and the kids log into the pc on their name, how do they get access to windows games?(solitaire,freecell ect...) They show up in my program list but not on theirs?

I get a lot that wants you to put your name like on a petition or just I want to send part of it on another email to other people. You usually have to add your number and then your name. I have never been able to figure it out. Thanks!

I'm trying to record gameplay from my older computers, which run on Win 3.1, Win95, & Win98, respectively. My newest computer, with XP, has rca plug-ins as an input device for its record program, but the older computers do not.
My thinking is that, if I can hook up the audio & video outputs of these older computers to the rca ports of the XP, I could record my gameplay onto the XP. Can this be done, and if so, how?

I was wondering if it's possible to hook up my HP pavilion laptop to an HP pavilion pc tower I have lying around.

Do I need some sort of docking thing for this? I really have no idea.

I'm not sure this will even solve my problem. I want to install a game that requires about 1.6GHz and mine is only 500 MHz or so. I don't even know if hooking up the tower would help that situation.. Any help or advice please?

I have a Windows XP Computer. The program itself doesn't really matter because this applies to any of my applications, but anyway...Whenever I open up Firefox I need to click the maximize button because it always opens up in that "restored down" form. How do I make it so that whenever I open up the program it will automatically fill the whole screen?

I am 11 and I just got an iPod today, and I already can put music on it and can work it like I've had it for years! I also have a laptop where I can do anything and fix anything on it! Sometimes my parents even ask ME for tech help! Is it because I have grown up with computers, or am I smarter? I also have tons of email and accounts! I even am a graphic designerfor neopets! (That means I can code graphics!). I am asking this because I heard in various magazines, people, Television, and the internet that the youth are less computer savvy because they started out with computers much earlier than their elders & parents! If this is true, than I am definately teaching my children how to work technology at an early age!

I have went to Limewire, Ares. Bearshare and several others. They all say that it is free but you have to pay an up front fee to join. As far as I am concerned, this isn't free. Does anyone have any suggestions.
