I am only using 80% of the computer's hard drive. I have DSL. My pc just doesn't seem to run as fast as I would like.

Recently I found my inbox has been read by someone because the most recent emails are showing alread read. this things are happening almost every week.

How do I track that person ? I don't want to change the password now because I want to track it first.

OK So I'm an old guy and all this pute stuff is new so I'm allowed to ask really dumb questions.
Here's the situation-I'm just now figuring out that the enter button is a euphonism for self destruct so I would like to be able to avoid alot of the mine feilds and only work with programs-web sites-whatevr plug ins are-add-ons etc-etc--------etc- that have the fewest problems and of course optimal quality.
Sooooooooooo----What set-ups do you love and favor and like all that??????????????
My system is: HP Pavillion a600n>>2800athlon>>512MB>>80GHCD-RW/DVD ROM Integrated graphics with 64MB sharedvid mem>>front load ports for bus and cards and jacks>>XP/sp2>verizonDSL>>Microsoft Office.and a lot of misc programs.

I was thinking about purchasing a notebook computer to help me organize at work. I need something very lightweight. I plan to use Windows XP office type software for business planning and word processing and customer information storage. Wireless internet capability would be a plus as well but not necessary. I honestly do not know a whole lot about computers, I need some techie advice.

Today, I had to go on my dad's PC on an old version of MSN. I usually used Windows Live Messenger on mine, and all my contacts are there. However, when I checked on MSN to see if everything worked, I noticed one contact (or maybe more that I haven't realized) isn't there on the list. Why is this?

At first, I thought it was due to they're inactive, but I have another account who has not been online for longer. (As in, both were offline for 1-3 months). So my only conclusion, is this is either a weird bug, they uninstalled MSN Messenger (don't think so), or... they blocked/deleted me...

When I logged into Live, they're still here. If they DID delete me, how should I go about asking them why? If it is just a bug, do I just ask them to add me again?

How would I convert the ISO back into the dvd format?
I've used Alcohol 120% to burn the Image of the ISO onto a dvd, but what I really want is to burn the movie, unpackaged from the ISO. Because I currently can't watch the burned copy, as its obviously an ISO, not a movie.

How would I go about doing that?

we were sent the bt homehub for free and it is useless.

im trying to reconnect our old wireless hub, a belkin adsl modem with a wireless g router, and when i plug it back in, the lights turn on but none of them turn off and its does not connect. i have tried leaving it for a while but nothing, anyone got some ideas?

hi freinds, i completed by B.E in electrical & electronics engineering in 2002, becoz of some family problems i could move from my small town to a big city to search for one, in the meantime i started working in customer service which is no way related to my field, in coupld i hope the problems will get over, i always had a feel that i could not get into software, can someone pls advise if it is still possible for me to get into software ?
