Microsoft but I like the way Apple doesn't try to take your money at every little opportunity like Microsoft.

Apple! Apples are great for your creative side and you work side. The look is innovative and cool and the products are all amazing. You can see from the Apple iPods, and all of their other new items that they can continue to make good products. Apple is great, it has a little remote for the new computers and you can click on it and a screen will appear letting you choose some things you want for fun. And now you can run a windows system on Mac. An Apple computer is just so much better and is something you can use long term. Go to apple.com and check out all of the products and it will show you which products are best for you. Good luck!

Well this should set off quite a nice battle. I'm not sure the question is specific enough to get anything from it other than some mouthing off. In terms of companies and the way they operate and the overall products and support, I'd go for Apple almost every time. I think Microsoft is learning that they need to change their strategies to remain competitive, but they've become a sluggish giant in recent years.

Its hard to answer this question. I personally think Apple computer are better. That's only because I use one every day. I use Microsofts system once in a while, but because I don get so much use out of it, I think it sucks. People who use Windows all the time think it rocks.
So, its a tie
except
...
Microsoft's new OS, Vista, is almost a complete replica of Mac OS: X (Tiger)
of course
Copying is the greatest form of flatery

Depends on what you want to do with it.
The arts (video, pictures, music, etc) usually go with apple.
Video games, either but it seems like microsoft has more of the newer games sooner.
Cheap, microsoft.
Something that seems to last longer, Apple.

Apple... You can get the best of both worlds by going with a Mac. You have all your regular Mac features, plus there's Bootcamp and Parallels for those who absolutely have to run Windows.
