I installed a program, now I get the above message.
How do I "fix" this??

Im wondering cause I want to make a full copy of my computer and I just want to know if I need to make a copy of my registry too.Or if copping my c: drive will coppy everything.So if I need to restore my computer I can just get on my other hardrive and copy all the files back since that hardrive will not be in use I will be able to copy ever single file making an exact duplicate.But will I need to copy the registry too or is your registry maybe part of some of these files like I think HKEY_USERS is? Thanks

Hi, can people borrow Windows Office 2000 of course the original to use it in another computer; share it or does it have to be one for each computer.

I know Windows Xp has to be individual but office is not so important is it?

Hello,

I have an old computer running windows 98. When I run some programs, they lock up and I have to shut them down. I normally use Ctrl+Alt+Delete to get to the task manager but all of a sudden that stopped working. Is there a way to access task manager any other way than that. Thank you in advance for all/any responses

My DVD drive still works because I use it for games, but I can't watch videos any more. Has something changed with the DVD Movie disks that prevent them from showing on my computer? I haven't got a TV and I would like to watch a movie once in a while.

it says click on user name to begin...username is a ches board -Administrator- when i click on it - i get enter password....i dont know password because i bought this for my kids christmas today from a friend....i called her and she said she just had it upgraded and hadnt cut it on so she did not know...is there a way around this csreen...it says once i log on i go to control panel and set up other users - but how do i get any further - i need to know fast because i dont know what i just bought.....

one day my tool bar decided to go vertical. its now on the side of my screen. not at the bottom like everyone else. all of the icons have fliped too so they are still right side up, so i can still read them and everything. i have a dell w/ windows and everything works that is the only weird thing. also the color changed from the blue and rounded edges to classic windows, gray and boxy. how the hell do i fix this? im not very computer savy but i have tried every option,button, and help topic my damn computer has. please help. if you need more information to help me please message me on yahoo messenger under scorpio_emerald or bludyroze or email me.

ok so heres the deal: I have router that connects both(2) of my computers to the internet. The router is wireless too, but i don't want to use it to connect to the web on my pc's. And i don't want to buy a wireless card. I recently got rid of the older computer and switched it with a brand new one. When I connected it to the router, the internet did not show. It says you are not connected to the internet. I've tried connecting to the internet directly to my modem and that didn't work. I know it's not the router that is causing this. I believe the reason for this is that the ?ethernet?(looks like a telephone jack) port doesnt recognize the cable hookup. Is there a way to make it recognize the connection or is there some type of internet setting I have wrong? Please explain, if possible, how i could do this.
