I'm guessing that you've tried the add/remove option in control panel. If so, go to my computer, c:\, program files and find the folder that is named whatever the program is and delete. This will stop it from running. If this doesn't work then give me some more details of what it is and what your operating system is. Good luck

go to my computer.. and then c drive and then go to programs and then find the folder with the program then delete it and all content and then go to search on the start button and do a search for the name of the program and then as it comes up in the window right click and delete it..You may still have messages that come up after its off but then the program will be gone..>also youo can go to control panel and find add and remove programs and find the program and uninstall it by clicking change or remove button. This is the best way to do it but sometimes it doesnt work.so you have to delete it..I think this should help but well there maybe someone that can suggest something better here..

I'd going to take a guess that you're using Microsoft Windows? That operating system sure has its fair share of problems!
Download a copy of Knoppix:
http://www.knoppix.org/
Its a Linux Live CD - just burn it to CD and boot from it. Once booted you'll be able to see all the files on your hard disk drive. Simply select the ones you want to delete... right click... select "delete"... and they're gone!

If there are errors and the programs got currupted, you can try to restore the computer to an older working configuration. Detailed instructions are posted at http://fixit.in/systemrestore.html

Look in the program file for an uninstall icon. Or try to reinstall the program. It may pop up asking if you want to install, repair or modify, or uninstall.
Click uninstall.
This worked for me on some crap I downloaded for free (that really wasnt) on CNET.
Good Luck!
