to fix the location of the taskbar, right click on an empty space on the taskbar and hit "lock taskbar" to uncheck it. Left click and drag the taskbar to the bottom. Right click and lock the taskbar.

To fix the colours, right click on the desktop and click properties. You should be under the Themes tab. Select a theme and apply. You can also click Appearance tab and check certain windows and colours to your liking.

To restore task bar to it's original location(at bottom)
1. Right click on the tool bar in an empty space
2. Select lock the taskbar so that the checkmark disappears
3. Left click on an empty space and literally drag the bar to the bottom of your screen
4. Right click again on an empty space and select lock taskbar so that the check mark is back on it.

To restore your original colors and shape
1. Click on Start
2. Click on Control Panel
3. Click on Display
4. Click on Appearance tab
5. Select Windows XP Style under "Windows and Buttons"

( A shortcut to the start/control panel/display is to Right click on the desktop in an empty space and select Properties, then Appearance then follow number 5 above) good luck with this

Hi. Right click on an empty space on your tool bar. Uncheck "Lock the toolbar" then drag the toolbar to the bottom. Right click again and click to lock it. Once this is fixed, right click again and select ' Properties '. This will give you some options to try. If worse comes to worst then do a "System Restore". Start> All programs> Accessories> System tools> System Restore. Good luck!

left click on the tool bar and hold it then drag the bar back down to the bottom of the screen... then right click the bar and select LOCK TASKBAR then it can't be moved by accident. :)
