ow to remove "hard-headed" programs inside Control Panel (under "Add/Remove Programs")? They seem to be malware because when i try to remove them (by clicking the Change/Remove), it triggers/opens a website. I have deleted these same programs inside the "Program Files" folder. Thanks!

i have been given a bluetooth adapter as a gift,as i have everything else for my p.c
the thing is,i am not too sure what i can do with this,i know you can receive data from mobiles and g.p.s devices but can i link it to my bt home hub or do i need a specific device
i have installed it and its working fine,but will it affect my ethernet wired internet connection,as if it does i will not use it
also why does it flash on and off,is this because its scanning for devices

when i click a link to a page on the net it will occasionaly come up blank but with 'about blank microsoft' as the page name. it will then not let my close the page so i have to minimise it so i can carry on sufing.why is it doing that, how can i stop it and why wont it let me close those pages thanks for your help

I tryed to use my task manager this morning and it said it was disabled by the administrator and I'm the administrator. I don't know how to put it back on there. I use it alot. I have a windows xp. any info would be helpful. Thank you. I need as much detail as possible too.

Well the question explain all.every one refuses to listen to me and now i RARELY get to go on the internet which when no one of the three is using the comp.What can i do to improve this computer connetions or how can i take all the power.My computer sends more then it can recieves.The recieve line is locked.

Some video, charts, audio, photos, etc., have to be combined in this presentation. This is basically intended for marketing. I need this to be done at a very low budget as i can't take risk initially. Though the presentation need not be highly professional with all sorts of multimedia, i wish to have it done in a simple and clearer way. I just want to have it done by myself without outsourcing to an agency. Can i hv it done with my own PC. What are all the softwares required? I'm not familiar with Powerpoint or so. Pls advise the better way of having this task completed.

My son was given this computer by his grandmother when she was ill with Cancer. It worked great..then he put a password for sign with his name so he could lock the computer. Now he can't add or delete programs, do updates, or use tools like defage because he dose not have the adminastative password. And unfortanatly his grandmother has passed away...so we have no way of getting the password. I tried to wip out the computer by tring to up a new windows programs on the computer. But it said"Can't boot CD...error 5". He really needs this computer for school...can anyone tell me how to fix this problem. Thank you,

In one CD only 13 songs fit.
after that it has no space left for more songs as it fill the 80 mins of the CD.
but in one CD of 700 MB atleast 50 songs should fit in.
i have seen people writing more than 60 songs on a single CD of 700 MB and 80 mins.

How can i do it?

Can anyone tell me why my dvd's when burned are good quality , are recognised by my dvd player but jump and crackle on playback? (they play without any problem on my pc)
I have tried the following software to burn but with same results.
DVD SANTA
NERO 7
SUPER DVD CREATOR 8.5
Any help would be most welcome.

Heres the situation, i have the newest version of limewire, windows XP medis center edition, LightScribe Double/Dual Layer DVD R/RW drive with CD writer capabilities and only a few DVDs

so is there anyone that can help me?

My computer is misbehaving. While am working, it can decide to start opening other programs etc. I could be working on any file but it automatically points the arrow to start and then picks on any item on the menu then opens it. I have scanned, cleaned etc but this problem keeps ocurring. When its running, I can not continue with what I was doing and I have to start closing the programs it had opened. What's wrong?

I am looking for a *totally free* site, where I can send text messages from my computer free of charge. Tried one called CardboardFish which was useless and texts did not arrive. I just added more memory and a new graphics card to my computer and since then whenever i start it up it either crashes at the log in menu or crashes as soon as my desktop loads... then i have to pull the plug out and start it up again.
What could be the problem?

(i use windows xp, and on another partition i have linux)

I don't have Acrobat Reader 6 or 7, but 5.1. Now, I need to know where the path to the exe file resides on the Registry of XP. For version 6.0 and above. Please help!
