How would I convert the ISO back into the dvd format?
I've used Alcohol 120% to burn the Image of the ISO onto a dvd, but what I really want is to burn the movie, unpackaged from the ISO. Because I currently can't watch the burned copy, as its obviously an ISO, not a movie.

How would I go about doing that?

It shouldn't matter if you burn an .iso image file or a collection of .ifo and .vob files on to a blank DVD (DVD movies are usually recorded as a collection of.ifo and vob files). You should be able to play both on a dvd drive or dvd player. I use both methods without any problems. Are you sure you burn the .iso image correctly? I am familiar with Alcohol 120% but have never used it myself. Try ImgBurn, a free .iso burner (http://www.imgburn.com/).

use magic iso, it create a virtual drive on your computer and runs the iso like a disk so you can see the contents and edit it as you see fit
