yes, you just need the software and of course a dvd reader(!) and sound card and speakers (or you wont hear any sound!)

A few good dvd playing software, CyberLink Power DVD, Ulead DVD player these are commercial ones (ones you pay for - you will probably find if you have a dvd reader/writer on your pc then you may alrady have dvd playing software.

Some good free dvd players: VLC (video lan client) , BS Player (Lite version is free)

I use all the above - I particularly like Cyberlink PowerDVD (it came with my dvd drive, and vlc - vlc plays nearly every format i throw at it)

Yes, as long as the computer has a drive that can read DVDs. DVD player applications exist for all operating systems as far as I know.

Yes you have to have a DVD-Rom or a DVD Burner and a progran such as power dvd or another dvd program. If you don't have a dvd program then you can download some versions from places like limewire. sometimes windows media player will play the dvd movies if you have the right codecs and plug-ins installed. If you have A DVD-ROM or a DVD burner but you can not get a dvd program please let me know and if you use yahoo messenger then I can send you power dvd. It works on older pcs as well as newer ones. my email is chris37mtx@yahoo.com

Your computer has to have a DVD Drive (and a good sound card) for you to be able to watch DVD's on it.

Yes I can. No, thank you!
If you are serious, first you need a DVD-rom, DVD-R, DVD-RW etc. Drive. You also need a decoder software to view the video.
