My friend is thinking of getting this pc:

I tend to be leary of Walmart stuff, but the price is pretty tempting and it includes an lcd monitor
(it's a 3.33 GHz Intel Celeron machine with 120 Meg HD, 512 M RAM and windows Vista Home edition.

Hi, i renctly thought of upgrading to a ATI x1950 pro graphics card but i dont know if itll work with my cvomputers power supply.I think it needs 450 watts or something how do i calculate the watts without opening my computer case and without doing the voltage x amps thing?

the properties of c: says 20 gb full. but when i select all the contents ( hidden as well) they say 11 gb so where is rest of 9 gb and how to recover it?

I have a Dell computer, and I want to reinstall Windows XP. I am stuck when the Windows XP Setup begins, because the keyboard does not respond when it says enter=continue,r= repair, and F3=quit.

i am trying to burn an image file using nero burning rom version 7.0.1.2 and i came across a check box that says Super Link. What happens if i burn the image with Super Link activated/checked? How about if it's not checked? Is there a big difference?

I would like to setup cable internet access for 12 to 15 offices that are spread out over 3 floors of a 100 year old Victorian style brick home that has been converted into office space.
Each office is a separate company, but I would like to offer them free internet.

How can I make this happen ? I would like to do it myself ?

Also can I limit the usage so that one person can not take up all the bandwidth?

Copying from one damaged HD to a new one. Some files are damaged, and gives me the 'cyclic redundancy' error. Is there a way/program that I can mass copy it, and skip/fix the damaged files. As it is, when it hits a bad file, it exits out. It doesn't ask the yes/no/all thing. I hate to babysit it all the way through

hello i at the verge of screaming outloud because my mic wont wokr. ive been trying for the past hour! ok i stuk the mic in the bak of the computer where it says mic. my mic has no on off switch. wen i put in the mic i get no sound tht usually comes when something i plug something in. anyways i goto control panel and goto the sound thing and wen i test hardware under the voice tab it says no hardware found. wats going on?!?!? i have a creative volume control thing, maybe i have to do something under tht please help.

ok so if u dont know y thts not workin i also have a headset from "turtle beach" it is one of those really big ones with surround sound. it comes with a mic to insert in the side. ok so how do i get tht to wrk i. put in the mic in this whole so now what. do i have to enable it somewhere in the computer or wire something please help!

ill give points to anyone who can help..im in a state of depression :(

o i frgt when i soto the sound thing in the control panel under the voice tab, in voice playback and voice recording it says the default device is my sound card in both of them "SB Audigy 2 ZS [A000]

When i try to burn an iso, which is 4 gb, and i put my dvd rw cd in, it tells me no disc, and my pc is dvd rw, so its not that, wul for help

from the motherboard, it says it support 4gb 32 bit and also 8gb 64 bit... so how can i have 8gb installed?
so far i have only seen a maxium of 1024gb of ram in store only...

and how do u know whether can you install a windows vista 64-bit or not? I heard you must have a 64 bit cpu... how do you tell if a cpu has 64 bit or not? i couldn't see the information in the spec, thx!!
