i have two pcs at home, two lan cards per pc, and a cable connecting the two (rj45), and i'm satisfied on it, i use it to share internet and files... but then, i bought another pc, and i want to connect the three for the same purpose too...so will i use switch, router or hub? i dont need to powerful but one which can do that task, since i have limited budget but wants that feature

Ok, I was being really dumb and started fiddling with my computer's volumes...Now everything is sounding high pitched and when my friends talk to me over the computer, they sound like speedy chipmunks..I really need to know what to put my bars at...

Also, I bought a new mic for my computer and it doesn't work right..I plugged it in the right spot but when I talk into it my friend's say that I sound like a monster (really low) I know I need to adjust my bass and treble, but for some reason it's grayed out and I can't adjust the bars...

How can one check the capacity and/or the actual Hard Drive Space available ... there must be a simple way to do that?

I just bought this great External Hard Drive 200 Gigs and took everything off my 60 Gig Lap Tops Hard Drive to free it up.

I was told by doing that I will increase the performance of my half Gig of Ram and oveall performance of the Lap Top in general, is it true and how can I check to see how much restored space is now on the internal Lap Tops Hard Drive now?

i used to have a nividia g-force4, and i followed all the instructions to load the new card. i got it installed and the drivers loaded just fine. but when i had to reboot, the screen just comes up black, and thats it. to do anything at all i have to reboot manually to get the same results.
