Ok, I was being really dumb and started fiddling with my computer's volumes...Now everything is sounding high pitched and when my friends talk to me over the computer, they sound like speedy chipmunks..I really need to know what to put my bars at...

Also, I bought a new mic for my computer and it doesn't work right..I plugged it in the right spot but when I talk into it my friend's say that I sound like a monster (really low) I know I need to adjust my bass and treble, but for some reason it's grayed out and I can't adjust the bars...

Thanks for any help!

I'm not sure how to restore my computer and when I go into the sound options and such, there's no default button..

I've played around with the sound volumes..that's what got me into this mess in the first place...lol

If now no longer, you're no longer waiting to easily plug something in. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that enable's assume it does for now. If it does, in basic terms purchase yet yet another cable, put in in the headphone jack on your amp, plug it into your laptop's enter, download audacity, and you're golden. Now let's imagine it would not. you've got have been given to purchase a microphone, mic cable, mic stand (a table variety will do superb) and a small USB (or, in case your workstation has a firewire port, use the firewire!) mixer. which would be incredibly low priced, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it is going to be over $one hundred a minimum of. as quickly as lower back, upon getting thatm get carry of audacity and get to recording. stunning stable fortune!
