I have a ATI 9800 XT video card, and one capacitor fall off (my fault, I put pressure in the wrong part). I cant use the same cap for it, because one of the feet is broken. But I can´t find another one locally. The info i have for this capacitor is this. to the left is a purple band, then to the right it says 4 0 2, right below S V P, then below 1200, and then below 4. Could some one told me what it is and where I can order one of those? Thanks

its a black tower with XP home Pre-installed., built 2005 or 2006 Im missing files and need to know who makes the model. All thats on it is "Ultra" lower center, no manufactor showing anyplace from or rear.
If anyone knows please advise me? thanks

I have a desktop computer and i have a 126 ram chip when i put it in mt screen stays blank. so i take that one out and put in my 64 one in and it says 206 memory failed configuration. the computer came with a 256 ram already and i just leave that one alone. Help

I just downloaded an updated driver for the Radeon 9600 Video Card that I just installed. Windows Media Player plays videos normal and I can watch on YouTube. However, if I go to Yahoo! Music or CMT Player, those videos are really messed up. Only bright distorted colors. Before I downloaded the driver, the computer would freeze up. After the driver, no freeze ups but this problem above. Thanks. Any help would be appreciated.

Sometimes after using the computer for a while, the screen will go totally white like its bleeped out. Do I need a new driver update? What is the best way to configure or whatever I need to do so it is not unstable? Thanks.

i am building a new pc and wondering what videocard is the best
pricerange max 300
i was thinking ATI X1950PRO EXTREME 512MB GDDR3
or Geforce 7950GT KO 512MB GDDR3 or does annyone have anny other suggestions in that pricerange, should go on intel core 2 duo 2.4 ghz with 2 Gb memory

Hello guys, I have a dell E510 which, due to the restrictions of budget, im spiffing up and rehashing to make it the best it can be instead of buying a whole new computer.
I currently have a PNY GeForce 7900GT with 256mb video card, but I want to upgrade to a direct X 10 card when the time is right.
Should i get the 320mb 8800 GTS (this is the only card of the G80 series that will fit in my case) or should i wait for ATI to come out with its card?
For that matter do you guys expect ATI's direct x 10 card to be better, when it does come out, and should i wait for it?

I came across a SATA drive - I've got a laptop and a desktop that I want to do stuff. Ideally, I want to have control of two computers without using a network. If possible I'd also like to share resources (one processor is in charge of X processes and the other's in charge of Y processes) ....? Any ideas?

I just recently built my own computer and I popped in the Windows XP Home OEM disc and it started going. Well, when the computer rebooted, the installation didn't continue from before. My monitor just went completely blank. Please help me!

Ok... so I was looking at the product reviews that were written by other people... one of the review mentioned that I have to turn on all my fans manually to 100% and cpuvreg to on or else the fan headers will not turn on for case fans... then I was like "huh?"

now I am worring about this...i was planning to skip the BIOS setting and jump to the installation directly..because i know nothing about setting the bios... does every single mobo has to set something in the bios? because all i want is a good mobo with everything set in the biso already and i don't have to worry about...

(i am not doing any over clocking or things similar)

ok, I recently learne a thing or 2 about how dvd region codes work. and it annoys me. I have an Apex Ad-1500 dvd player and would like to learn how to turn it to region 0. As far as i can tell the serial number does not start with sv, since I've been told that may be important.
