mouse gets hot after shutdown mouse and keyboard stay powerd on after shutdown?

my mouse and keybaord stay on after i shut down my emachine computer and the mouse gets very hot dose anyone know why and what i can do to stop it from doing this?

Check and see if your mouse has batteries in it. Like the computer batteries that get hot, indicates they are bad. If it is plugged in, then I would get another one. I did not understand how a keyboard stays on after you turn the computer off, unless it is wireless.

Unplug it from the back and see, Some keyboards and mouse might be battery powered. They have off switches if its wireless. If its plugged in, just unplug and see what happens
