Ram chip help?

Question

I have a desktop computer and i have a 126 ram chip when i put it in mt screen stays blank. so i take that one out and put in my 64 one in and it says 206 memory failed configuration. the computer came with a 256 ram already and i just leave that one alone. Help

i dont have the 64 in only the 256 and the 64 gives the error 206 memory failed configuration when i put it in. the 256 doesnt work it gives a blank screen

So you have a 256 and a 64 and it works OK? Perhaps the 128 is the wrong kind or is bad?
