Ok... so I was looking at the product reviews that were written by other people... one of the review mentioned that I have to turn on all my fans manually to 100% and cpuvreg to on or else the fan headers will not turn on for case fans... then I was like "huh?"

now I am worring about this...i was planning to skip the BIOS setting and jump to the installation directly..because i know nothing about setting the bios... does every single mobo has to set something in the bios? because all i want is a good mobo with everything set in the biso already and i don't have to worry about...

(i am not doing any over clocking or things similar)

If you are going to install a motherboard yourself, then do it correctly. Learn about your bios from the manual. In a newly assembled machine, you should reset the bios, as many motherboards fail to correctly configure your I/O configurations unless the I/O page is re-mapped for cards that map memory directly.

Additionally, this will correctly configure the PCI for older cards that rely on DMA and DPMI vector tables for older software that needs DOS emulation.

A Bios reset is also beneficial if you have a high-end graphics card installed , using dual-channel memory and have SATA drives mixed with PATA drives.

While you are in the bios, check all the voltages and temperatures and make sure everything is ok.

After you install your operating system, make sure to run the chipset driver CD that came with your motherboard. (If VISTA, then get a new copy of the chipset drivers from your motherboard vendor)

The defaults in the BIOS should work just fine. The fans come on when you start the computer.

dont alter anything in bios, go ahead and install your windows, there is no need to change anything on a new board
