I am buiyng new system with Pentium D processor and intel chipset so tell me plz will 80 GB Hard Disk be compatible for 1 GB Ram?

If I understand your question correctly, it would not matter, RAM has little to do with your HD. RAM is used to run the programs that are on your computer, the more RAM you have the more applications you can have open at the same time with out your computer freezing up. The more HD space you have the more programs (music, video, games, software, etc.) you can have installed on your computer.

I think any computer can hold up to 1 GB Ram just as long as it supports it...Maybe a computer running Windows 98 or less probably won't recognise it...

It should work just fine. RAM and hard disk capacity have nothing to do with each other. You can have as much (or as little) of either as you want.

Actually, your RAM and your Hard Drive are two separate hardware items on your computer.
Now with that said, Yes...you can use an 80gb hd with 1gb of ram...that's exactly what I have on my computer!

cuando mi ordenador ha tenido un accidente no sabía si valía l. a. pena cambiarle el tricky disk o comprar otro nuevo, he tenido mucha suerte con amazon, he encontrado el producto perfecto, un transporte rápido y mi portátil funciona otra vez y mejor que antes porque el tricky disk tiene una mejor velocidad de respuesta.
