You can have a thousand fans in your computer. The problem is that you need to pull as much heat as possible off the cpu. This is done with the heat sink. The best way to take heat off with the heat sink is to get it as close as possible to the surface of the cpu. You can do this by sanding the bottom of the heat sink, until the bottom is shiny and looks like glass, then bonding it as tight as you can.

Putting more fans in can actually make your cpu hotter, because the case fan can counteract the motion of the cpu fan. You must make sure that the cpu fan is spinning in the direction that the big case fan is pulling air. Otherwise, it will just be slowed down by the more powerful fan.

If your CPU is overheating, extra case fans will help alittle, but not anywhere near as much as a good heatsink and fan.

it depends on what socket you are using but maybe look at an artic cooling freezer pro 64, but be carefull what you buy it must fit your socket type. Also you will need to put on some thermal compound when you change the HS&F.

You could buy a whole cooling unit for your computer and this should resolve the problem.

I think that Misco ( www.misco.co.uk ) might have just what you need!
