More software for PCs. And pcs are faster & friendlier these days.
This is an argument from 15 years ago. PCs won.

I prefer PC's. It's probably personal preference really, unless you have specific things you want to use the computer for, in which case a bit more research/more specific question would obviously be required! Some say macs are more user friendly, but I disagree, probably just because I'm used to PC's though! I like to be able to right-mouse-click at every available opportunity. Plus having a #-key on the keyboard is nice. (Apparently alt+3 works on macs for #, they kept that a pretty good secret!)

PC's, while Macs may have a few benefits, there are many programs that can't be installed on Macs and there are somethings that Macs can't do (plus if you're used to PC's, Macs will be hard to get used to)

Macs are better with art and design and artsy stuff like that. I could make this answer SO long, but it all blows down to a matter of preference.

If you want to use Mac programs, you need a Mac.
If you wish to run Linux, a Mac laptop or a desktop PC.
