Yes it is bad, your computer can overheat and not work as well. It also uses a lot of electricity, costing you a lot of money.

It depends on which processor your computer has.. would you like to give us that information of your desktop? (relating to the electricity part of the question)... and if you do it only a day and a night.. shouldnt be a problem, but when you dont ever turn it off, yes.. there will be a major problem, and your computer might as well go in the trash.

I always shut my Windows down at the end of the day.
My Mac I put into sleep mode.

i think it is bad, first it could run hot, an take the life you pc has on it,by turning it off you not only cool it, but you pc will last longer, too if you leaveing it on an you still hook to the web, they could hack you while you not their to, care for the pc, i my self turn mine off

yup its bad! it can over heat and explode........ lol jk well actually it might. idk about that but it can over heat and it uses alot of electricity
